Research Engagement Program

At Oxford College, each academic department is assigned a librarian contact as part of the Research Engagement Program (REP). Find your REP academic department library contact and if your area is not assigned a librarian but you would like a contact, let us know. 

Your librarian is your contact for any library-related question, comment, or concern.  Some of the things your REP librarian contact can help you with include:

• Assisting you with your scholarly research
• Integrating information literacy instruction into your courses
• Providing one-on-one research assistance for your students in research consultations
• Ensuring the items your students need are on physical or electronic reserve at the library
• Creating research guides for your courses that can be linked in Canvas
• Sharing resources and strategies for plagiarism detection and prevention
• Offering training on research management tools like Zotero
• Updating you on newly acquired books and resources in your subject area
• Answering any library services or research-related questions
